Working with individuals, adolescents and couples to make sense of difficult emotions and relational patterns through psychodynamic therapy — in person in Bedford Square WC1B, Russell Square WC1B and Southgate N14, or online via Zoom and WhatsApp video. Clinical supervision also available for qualified and trainee practitioners.
“Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better through change.”
My background includes over 25 years of supporting vulnerable children and families, managing social, emotional and behavioural support within schools, overseeing safeguarding responsibilities, delivering parenting support, and working closely with staff and families to create safe and supportive environments.
This extensive experience deepened my understanding of the emotional challenges people face and led me to train as a psychodynamic counsellor. Once qualified, I worked with the Enfield Counselling and Psychotherapy Service, where I saw clients, couples and ran a domestic violence clinic, while also establishing my own private counselling practice and further developing my specialist training in child and adolescent counselling.
My passion for understanding human behaviour and emotional wellbeing then inspired me to train as psychodynamic psychotherapist, giving me an even deeper therapeutic understanding. More recently, I completed training as a clinical supervisor, enabling me to support and guide other professions in their therapeutic work.

I am a highly experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Couples Therapist and Child Counsellor, offering a safe, consistent and compassionate space for individuals, adolescents and couples to explore their emotional and relational challenges. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory, which helps us uncover how unconscious processes and early life experiences shape present-day behaviours, thoughts and feelings. Through regular weekly or twice-weekly sessions—either online or in person—we work together to make sense of difficult emotions and patterns, fostering deeper self-awareness and lasting psychological change.
I offer sessions held at the same time each week. Our work begins with an initial assessment to explore what has brought you to therapy and to ensure that the fit feels right for you. Trust and safety are central to the process, especially when working with young people and those who have experienced trauma.
I support clients navigating a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:
I have extensive experience supporting adolescents and their families through challenging emotional, social, and behavioural issues. Building trust, consistency, and empathy is essential, allowing young people to feel safe enough to open up. Key areas include:
Relationships can go through times of difficulty, whether due to communication breakdown, infidelity, unmet needs, or life transitions. In couples therapy, I provide a non-judgemental space where both partners feel heard and understood. Together, we explore issues such as:
I currently lead a Domestic Abuse clinic at Enfield Counselling and Psychotherapy Service, supporting vulnerable adults through complex and often traumatic experiences. This work requires deep empathy, consistency and care, offering clients a space where they feel safe, validated, and heard—often for the first time.
I bring over 12 years of clinical experience, including long-standing work with Enfield Counselling and Psychotherapy Service and my own private practice. I also have extensive background working in schools with children and families, particularly those experiencing emotional, social, or behavioural difficulties.
My training is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and I continue to deepen my clinical work through ongoing professional development, supervision, and reflective practice.
